The Emphasis at Inch House is on relaxation, refreshment, great country food & friendly service. Our farm provides fresh vegetables & herbs to our menus along with incorporating the best of local produce including fresh fish & game in season & prime meats from the heart of the Golden Vale. The dining room’s classic Red & Gold decor, polished wood floor, white table linen & large picturesque windows, offers an extensive menu allowing a varied choice of Dishes to suit all tastes. Special Dietary needs are catered for on request and friendly staff are more than willing to help & advise with any of the dishes.

 We are now offering an Early Bird Menu From 5.30pm -7.30pm Tuesday to Thursday and

5.30pm to 7pm on Friday.

3 Course Early Bird only for €36.00 per person

We are also offering an extensive Dinner Menu to include 5 courses for €55.00 per person and an a la carte menu

Hill Walking Get-Away

Why not come and enjoy the Mid Tipperary Country Side. Inch House offers a wonderful setting for all walking Lovers.

The official looped Walks of Eamon an Cnoic, Knockalough and Birch Hill are second to none and test all abilities. The recently added Devils Bit Walk will take your breath away seeing as far as Kilkenny on one side and Lough Derg on the Other.You can even see Inch House from the Top of this hill!!

Trek the streams and lush fields of the Golden Vale and admire the stunning Views of what Tipperary has to Offer. Inch House, set nestled in this dazzling part of the county offers Mid-week or weekend breaks.

You can enjoy a sumptuous 4 course dinner on each evening of your stay, a hearty and Healthy Irish Breakfast each morning.

A light lunch each day will be prepared for you as you are out trailing our countryside. This will consist of Homemade Brown Bread Sandwiches with fillings of your choice, Tipperary Water, Fresh Farm Apples and a delicious Inch House Treat.

Our Working Farm is open to all our guests for a casual days walking for a peaceful stroll after a tougher trek up the Hills of Upperchurch and surrounding Areas.

Our resident Pet dogs Arthur & Tiny will happily accompany you and show you the sights of the farm! We will supply a map for each of the local looped walks and a drying room for wet gear is also available. A guided walk can be arranged with advance notice with Mr. Connie Ryan a local farmer. Connie has a real Grá for his area and a great way with storytelling & the history to go with the area. He is part of a community of farmers that have opened their farms to the public, and are willing to welcome walkers with open arms.

“Learn To” Breaks

Inch House is synonymous with great Country Cooking by using the best of local produce on its menus. Why not come and join Nora Egan, The Proprietor, or one of our chefs, John or Michael, on a “Learn to” break?

We will hold intimate classes for our residents where you can experience how the professionals work their magic! Some examples of classes include:


  • Selection of Soups , Breads and Scones.
  • An Inch House Black Pudding Class-to show how versatile it is and ideas for simple menu options at home.
  • Summer Lunch Barbeque for example Home-made Burgers, Local Sausages & salads.
  • A potato Class – for example, how to make our famous Inch House Garlic Potatoes or Potato Cakes.

All these “Learn To” breaks will include a sumptuous 4 course dinner on each evening of your stay, a hearty and Healthy Irish Breakfast each morning and of course what is made in our class is then consumed by our guests as a light lunch.

Food Lovers Hideaway

Tipperary is known as the Golden Vale where its top quality farming practices and produce is the best you can get.

With this in mind Inch House is offering Mid-week or weekend breaks where you can enjoy a sumptuous 4 course dinner on each evening of your stay, a hearty and Healthy Irish Breakfast each morning using Irish and Local Produce from Tipperary.

To honour the hard work and top quality Tipperary Food Producers we will also offer guests a take home hamper including, for example Inch House Potatoes, Inch House Black Pudding, Dressings and Chutneys from our Kitchen and local Jams & Cheeses etc.

A food trail taking in some local shops and Producers is an easy way to pass a day in Tipperary. Here is a sample food trail for you to enjoy leisurely:

Call into to Peter Ward in Country Choice, Nenagh where his delicatessen and restaurant are famous worldwide! Head towards Holycross and pop into Ann-Marie in Holycross Foods where she makes a huge selection of cakes and breads and also stocks locally made Crossogue Preserves from Veronica Molloy’s kitchen, Follow on to Cashel where Una O’Dwyer & her Family Butchers have a great selection of meats and speciality Sausages to choose from. Why not call to the Apple Farm in Cahir where the Traas Family will have a range of Juices and Fruits on sale all year Round. Finally the Famous James Whelan’s Butchers stock a wonderful selection of Local produce and Fresh Meats from local farmers.

Heritage Trail

Inch House is an excellent base to tour the country side and experience the history that goes with our Wonderful Heritage.

For example, why not take a day trip towards South Tipperary and Take in Farney Castle, Holycross Abbey, the Rock of Cashel and Cahir Castle. Another example of a day trip could be Nenagh Gaol, Roscrea Castle, Birr Castle & on to Clonmacnoise.

Tipperary is synonymous with the Horse and has a huge variety of getaway adventures for the horse lover.

Inch House is a brilliant base to get out and about on the plains and hills of Co. Tipperary on Horseback.

Whether it is a simple two hour trek or an intense few days of Cross country or Hunting in season, we can arrange and cater for all your needs. We would prepare you for your day by offering a Hearty Full Irish Breakfast on each morning of your stay, and then sit back and enjoy your 4 course meal in the comfort of our luxurious Dining room.

Relax by the fire In our William Morris style Drawing room with an after dinner drink and enjoy the company and surroundings before you retire to our comfortable bedrooms to prepare you for the following days activities.

We have teamed up with Crossogue Stud, where the Molloy family home is also found in a wonderful setting and is a working family run farm, to offer a number of packages:
